CORBA Annual Member Meeting will be March 4th

In the first quarter of every year, the CORBA Board of Directors holds its Annual Membership Meeting.  The purpose of the meeting is to elect new board members, review what the organization did in 2013, discuss plans for 2014, and greet new faces who want to know more about mountain biking and trails in the Chippewa Valley.  All are encouraged to attend, even those who aren’t CORBA members.  CORBA will provide beverages.  Those who want to get a bite to eat prior to the meeting should come early, so the meeting can start on-time.  Here’s the details:

CORBA Annual Membership Meeting
DATE:  March 4, 2014
TIME:  Meet and greet at 6:00pm, Meeting at 6:30pm, Social hour to follow.
PLACE:  American Legion Post 53, 634 Water St, Eau Claire

During the Annual Membership Meeting we will hold elections for CORBA’s Board of Directors.  CORBA members attending the meeting will vote to fill the positions of Vice President, Trail Marshal and Member at Large, as well as the Trail Liaison positions for our various trail systems.  You must be a current CORBA member to vote.  If you’re not a member yet but would like to vote, you can Join CORBA here.  You’ll also have an opportunity to join at the meeting, from 6:00 to 6:30pm (No cash — check or credit card only.  Checks should be made out to “IMBA”).

If you’re interested in helping shape the direction of CORBA and would like to run for one of the open board positions, send us an email by March 1st (the earlier, the better).

In addition to board members, CORBA is always looking for volunteers to assist in club operations.  If you and/or your business would like to assist with things like marketing, social planning, fundraising, legal advice, accounting advice, insurance advice, web site assistance, etc., we could use your help.  CORBA is a 501(c)3 organization, so your contributions may be tax-deductible.
